Indirect Long-Term Collaboration

Current Definition
Complex artifacts develop over long periods of time. Collaborative activities are required when direct, face-to-face, collaboration is impossible or impractical. DODEs support indirect, long-term collaboration by associating information (e.g., design rationale) with the artifact.
